James A. Ramage Civil War Museum located in Battery Hooper Park,
1402 Highland Ave., Ft. Wright, Ky. 41011

Listen to a debate between American President Lincoln and Confederate President Davis. Be inspired by the true story of Civil War Nurse “Mother Beard”. Here of how our citizen banded together under the leadership of Gen. Wallace to turn back a rebel army. Learn of the naval battles fought on our rivers and the high seas. Touch the petting zoo animals and enjoy the food and beverages. Walk among the one of the last remaining fortification that protected greater Cincinnati during the Civil War. Visit our Museum featuring artifacts from the Civil War and local history, including a “life mask” made from President Lincoln’s face during his life, weapons, documents and exhibits on Civil War nurses. Go back in time among Civil War camps, a field hospital, horses and cannons.

Be sure to visit our History Book Store for our 50% off sale (cash or check only).
