Did you know that the Fort Wright Police Department has a Vacation Check form that can be filled out to let the officers know that you are gone? This allows the officers to help keep an eye on your home in your absence. The form is simple, just click here and fill out the form and send it in before your next trip. Emergency Services Business Contact Card Forms:

Report Residents who fail to register their vehicles in Kentucky. If you observe Kentucky residents beating the system by operating motor vehicles on Kentucky highways for more than 15 days with out-of-state license plates or more than 30 days with temporary or other tags, please help report them by Clicking the attached form, download it, then either mail or fax it to the Police Department. Police Traffic Accident Reports
It takes 3 - 5 Business Days to Obtain a Report
|There are a couple of ways to obtain a Police Traffic Accident Report:|
|1) Log onto http://www.kyonlinereports.com/ or https://www.buycrash.com with date, last name, local code, badge number and agency number, received from police officer, to obtain the report. Per KRS 189.635, to obtain a copy of a Vehicle Accident Report, you must be a party to the accident, the parent/guardian of a minor who is party to the accident, insurers of any party who is the subject of the report, or an attorney of the parties. (This report can be obtained earlier than it would be available at the office, and also offers the convenience of being available 24 hours a day). There is a $10.00 charge to purchase the report.|
|2) Call to see if a report is ready and then come to the office, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM to pick the report up. You may walk-in for the report, but it's best to call first, as there is not always someone available to print the report. The number to call is (859) 331-2191, there is a$10.00 charge for the report, The City accepts cash, check or money order we do not have the ability to take credit or debit cards.|
|3) For all reports that are requested to be mailed, please send a pre-addressed, postage paid envelope to Fort Wright Police Department, Police Records, 409 Kyles Lane, Fort Wright, Kentucky 41011. Please include victim or driver information and date of report in letter of request and a $10.00 check or money order.|
4) All other reports, such as Incident or Crime Reports must be obtained at the Fort Wright Police Department, 409 Kyles Lane, Fort Wright, Kentucky 41011.
