PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
TIM MALONEY RETIRING

Dear Neighbor:

Effective September 30, 2017 (tomorrow), our Public Works Director, Tim Maloney, will retire from his service with the City of Fort Wright. While we are sad to see Tim go, we are excited for him as he moves to the next chapter of his life. Tim has been a valued and dedicated employee of the city for nearly 25 years. In addition to leading the Public Works Department since 1993, Tim also served as a volunteer Firefighter early in his career here. Tim has played a critical role in making Fort Wright a great place to live, work, and play and his leadership, keen insights, vast institutional knowledge and commitment to our city will be extremely difficult to replace. Tim is a great team player and he will be sincerely missed by myself, Council and staff. It's people like Tim that make Fort Wright such a wonderful community!

We will move quickly to fill Tim’s position, but in the interim, if you have Public Works related issues or questions please contact our City Administrator, Ed Butler, at 331-1700 or ebutler@fortwright.com.

In closing, I want to publicly thank to Tim for his many years of hard work, dedication and leadership and wish him a very long, happy and healthy retirement!

Thank you,

Dave Hatter, Mayor
