The City of Fort Wright, KY (population roughly 6,000) is seeking a motivated and proven manager with experience fostering cooperation and collaboration in dynamic, highly visible, multi-tasking environment to serve as City Administrative Officer (CAO). The CAO is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the city, understanding the vision and implementing policies established by the Mayor and City Council, coaching and managing 23 full-time and 20 part-time employees, addressing and resolving the concerns of residents and managing a budget of roughly $5 million dollars.
A bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration or related field is required and a Master's degree is preferred. Skills in leadership, budgeting, finance, public relations, personnel, oral and written communication, grant writing, zoning and program management are necessary. Past progressive management/supervisory experience required. Previous local government experience desired. Salary DOQ.
